CURRENT FGCZ OPERATIONS

The FGCZ is gradually returning to normal operations and is re-activating all services and technologies starting from April 27.
In the first phase until June 7, all analytical services will be ramped up with limited staff, resulting in longer delivery times. From June 8 and depending on the ability to increase staff density, all services are expected to run again with close to normal capacity and smaller to no delays.
User lab operations and hence access to instruments at the FGCZ will be very limited until June 7, in compliance with the measures of ETH, UZH and the FOPH. Autonomous and experienced users can be granted access, based on capacity and exclusively after scheduling and agreement by FGCZ staff. All training and teaching activities of the FGCZ are still suspended. From June 8, a step wise re-opening of all sections of the user lab and teaching and training activities is foreseen.
All bioinformatics and data analysis services, as well as user access to data and data analysis tools have been and remain fully operational. Bioinformatics staff is accessible via all remote communication tools of ETH and UZH.
In order to obtain latest information on available services and for instructions on how to submit samples under the current regime, please get in contact with your project and order coaches prior to sending materials or planning time critical experiments.
