Chia-wei is passionately dedicated to advancing the field of glycosylation through the power of mass spectrometry. Her research focuses on identifying and characterizing intricate glycosylation patterns. Expertise areas encompass glycoproteomics, structural analysis of carbohydrates, quantitative assessments of glycoproteins, and in-depth analysis of intact glycoproteins.

Within the lab, Chia-wei collaborates with fellow researchers on a spectrum of analyses, utilizing techniques such as Orbitrap analyses, amino acid analysis, intact protein analysis, and the characterization of other post-translational modifications (PTMs).
