Paolo Nanni

Unit Head Proteomics

Paolo is a pharmaceutical chemist by training, and he received his Ph.D. in Bioanalytical Mass Spectrometry from the University of Bologna. He is the Head of the Proteomics and Protein Analysis unit of the FGCZ, and together with his team he supports a large variety of analytical workflows such as proteome quantification, protein characterization, analysis of post-translational modifications, spatial proteomics, glycan and amino acid analyses.

Paolo is Vice-President of the external page Proteomics Section, of the LS2 (Life Sciences Switzerland) and represents the FGCZ in the external page Core for Life proteomics workgroup
