Expert Protemics

Ilaria’s work primarily focuses on spatial and quantitative proteomics, as well as the study of post-translational modifications. Together with the team, she is implementing advanced spatial proteomics and deep-visualization approaches. This involves testing new methodologies, including proteomics analyses on laser micro dissected samples.

Previously, she completed her Ph.D. in Clinical and Experimental Oncology and Immunology at the University of Padua, where she studied tumor metabolism and resistance mechanisms in ovarian cancer using multi-omics approaches. She then worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Protein Research in Copenhagen, focusing on mass spectrometry–based proteomics and phosphoproteomics in cancer research.

Her background allows her to provide support in experimental design, protein quantification, and data interpretation to ensure high-quality and reproducible results.
