Genomics
The FGCZ Genomics unit enables ETH and UZH research groups access to state-of-the-art portfolio of instruments, applications, workflows by providing robust services and customized implementation of methods and protocols. It provides know-how continuity while enabling accelerated access to disruptive genomics technologies to the ETH and UZH life science community.
The Genomics unit consist of the Genomics Analytics and the Genome Informatics teams, with expertise in the fields of next generation sequencing, single cell transcriptomics, spatial gene expression, long read sequencing, genome engineering, and bioinformatics.

Walk-in Access Expert-level users can access our medium-scale sequencers via walk-in mode. Schedule a time slot and load your libraries on those sequencers.
Customized Protocols For customized protocols, we provide access to our fully equipped user lab. Conduct your own experiments and utilize our state-of-the-art facilities.
